It’s no secret that the Nintendo Switch has always highlighted the Co-op aspect. The Super Mario Maker 2 Nintendo Direct just aired and it’s been revealed that you will be able to create levels together with a friend, allowing for ideas to be shared.

But if co-op isn’t your thing, Super Mario Maker 2 also features a Story Mode, with over 100 levels crafted by Nintendo themselves. You’ll need to rebuild a castle and you’ll have plenty of new characters to meet.

There is also online and local multiplayer, allowing you and up to three friends to play across an unlimited number of worlds together. You can even play via online or local wireless, with the latter allowing you and friends to play on your own Switches, but this does require everyone to have the game and the host Switch to have a stable internet connection.
