Kickstarter Project of the Week: Descend
For this week’s Switch Kickstarter Project of the Week, we will be looking at Twinspell Studios’ Descend. The game is slated to release in August 2021. Here’s the rundown:
Descend is an RPG inspired by the classic console greats, featuring precarious dungeon excavations, a unique look at puzzle platforming, tons of secrets, lovable characters, and a thrilling story where your choices matter. Join Faye in her Descend through a massive and ruined mega-structure. Each level contains new rules that govern the dungeon and its inhabitants. Carefully prepare for dangerous expeditions–bring the wrong equipment and you’ll have to make a quick escape!
Descend is currently slated for a PC release, however when a fan commented about a Nintendo Switch port, here’s what they had to say:
We’re looking into getting Descend on both PS4 and Switch, we love both consoles and we know many of our fans do to! We hope to follow up on this soon! A physical copy would also be amazing, its still the early stages of Descend but we’ve got our eyes on artists that would give us some beautiful box art.
Descend currently requires CA$50,000 and is already sitting at CA$13,566 with 18 days remaining.
