In the Nintendo E3 Direct from a couple days ago, it was announced that Banjo-Kazooie will be making their way into Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as the third fighter(s) of the Fighters Pass DLC. That has led fans to speculate as to whether the budding-duo from the Nintendo 64 days will make their way to Switch in more ways than one.
It has been no secret that Microsoft and Nintendo have been a lot friendlier with each other as of late, with Microsoft properties like Minecraft and Super Lucky’s Tale coming to the big N’s hybrid console. So it’s not out of the question as to whether the classic Banjo-Kazooie games can make their way to the Nintendo Switch.
Well today, Amazon Germany listed Banjo-Kazooie (Working Title) for the Nintendo Switch with no price, no picture and only a placeholder date at 31 December, 2019. Nothing has been officially announced, but it begs to question why this is here considering that nothing apart from the duo being added to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has lead to any new product being announced for Nintendo Switch.
It also is curious as to why it says “(Working Title)”, leading us to wonder whether it would be the Xbox Live Arcade versions of the two games or a brand new game and if it was the former, why it would be getting a physical release.
I guess only time will tell but at the moment, it seems like anything is possible.
