KUNAI - How to Find the Map / Disconnected Woods
From the beginning of KUNAI, you are without a map until you find it in the Disconnected Woods. As soon as you break out of the chamber, you’ll want to follow the course of the game by finding the Kunai in Haunted Factory and entering the Quantum Forest (click here if you’re unsure how to do this).
Quantum Forest
Once you’ve entered the Quantum Forest, you’ll want to follow a relatively linear path until you get to the point where Tabby’s face is shown below:
To get there, you’ll go from the room just to the right of the S (save point) and drop down. From here, you’ll land on a floating platform where a friendly robot will be. This robot will talk to you about a Map Chip (hallelujah!). To get this, we’ll need to find Dave in the Disconnected Woods. Jump down to the left and go through that exit.

In the first room, the middle leaf pile will have a robot hiding… KILL IT! Ahem, now that that’s done, move in this order:
- Right
- Right
- Down
- Left
- Right
- Right
- Down
- Left
- Right
- Right
- Left
- Right
- Left
Follow this order and you’ll meet Dave and he’ll give you the Map Chip and will also allow you to save.
