Blasphemous is a tough game, so it’s not surprising that the boss battles are tough too. Exposito, Scion of Abjuration is one of the later boss fights, and it sure isn’t easy. Let’s get into it…

For this boss fight, we’d recommend using some defence and attack boosting equipment.

First thing’s first, when you see a circle appear on the ground that gets smaller and smaller, do your best to not end up in it or you’ll meet the same fate as pictured below (instant death)…

The main battle here is with the snake/scorpion creature. It’ll circle around you, but simply concentrate on avoiding the blobs that fall from above. When it rears back up, you can attack its sensitive spot halfway up its body, but it’s a risky move.

Attack either the beast’s face or lighter coloured area on its body to whittle down its health.

When things go still and you can only see the front of the beast, that means it’ll be getting ready to sting you. Go in for an attack, but don’t stay for too long. Be sure to move and dash around so that you’re not skewered.

When the health is halfway through, the beast will headbutt you. Your best bet here is to parry the attack, but it’s not easy.

Attempt to lead the two lines of its tail in the middle and slide into attack Exposito and hack at its head.

Its last attack is to spit ranged attacks at you, but these can be easily dodged or jumped over.
