Banjo-Kazooie and Blast Corps Listed on Upcoming Wii U Titles in Japan

Did Nintendo just forget what year it is? According to Gematsu, Rare's Banjo-Kazooie and Blast Corps were scheduled to release in Japan on the Wii U.

Why Wii U and not Switch? Couldn't say. Why just Japan? Also couldn't say. All we can say is that the links for these games now lead to error 404 pages.

According to the @Nintendo's JPN release schedule, Banjo-Kazooie and Blast Corps are launching on the... Wii U Virtual Console? today in Japan. Links lead to 404s.

This is certainly strange and I wish I had more to say right now. Fans have been screaming for Rare Replay to come to Switch and it's safe to say that this is not what we had in mind. Also with Banjo-Kazooie with in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on Switch, it once again begs the question, "why?".
